The Graphic Communications Education Association Chapter at UH facilitates students' professional skills, fosters career growth, and establishes connections within the digital media industry through active student participation. They are dedicated to equipping students with the necessary resources for success beyond their academic journey, through workshops, networking events, guest speakers, and engaging social gatherings.
The Digital Media Program at the University of Houston is a cutting-edge program that offers students an opportunity to explore the rapidly evolving world of digital media. This interdisciplinary program draws from a wide range of fields, including videography, motion media, packaging, UX, and business to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the digital media landscape.
The Houston chapter of the UX Professionals Association (UXPA: http://uxpa.org/ ) are a growing group of people who love talking about user experience. They are a volunteer-run group dedicated to encouraging professional development, providing networking opportunities, and resources to the user experience, interaction design, information architecture (etc!) communities of the 4th largest city in the country!
